South Riding

Welcome to South Riding, Virginia, your new Hometown.   South Riding Proprietary, the Washington Metro Chapter CAI 2008 Large Scale Community Association of the Year, is a master planned development that maintains a small hometown feel while enjoying the sophistication of a Washington, D.C. suburb.   

South Riding is an exceptionally social community that promotes a family friendly environment through organized events and the efforts of Proprietary Staff and volunteers.  Homes in this planned community were first occupied in 1995.  With a population of over 15,000 people, more than 5,500 homes are currently occupied with an expected total at build-out of over 6,500.

A multitude of amenities are available to residents, including two community buildings, four swimming pools, over a dozen tot lots, parks, four lighted tennis courts, a WorldTrail Fitness Course,  basketball courts, three miles of pedestrian trails, and over 260 acres of Common Area.  Members enjoy a carefully planned, professionally produced and well attended event almost every month.  A nine member resident controlled Board of Directors manages the affairs of the Proprietary and active resident volunteers serve on Proprietary committees. 

Community residents also benefit from an 18-hole championship golf course, superior public schools, and two shopping centers with restaurants, specialty stores and services.



Kingstowne

Kingstowne is an urban community of 5400 homes located in Alexandria, Virginia, just 12 miles from the nation's capital.  Its location provides quick access to the Capital Beltway and the Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street Metro stations on Washington's Metrorail system.  Tree lined streets with a variety of housing ranging from apartments to estate single family homes and a vibrant town center make Kingstowne a great place to live and work.  Residents enjoy amenities including miles of walking trails, a beautiful lake, swimming pools, tennis and volley ball courts, numerous tot lots, an aerobics studio and two state of the art fitness centers.  Every effort has been made to maintain much of its 1200 acres as green space making Kingstowne a unique urban environment.



Brambleton

Welcome to Brambleton, a 2,000 acre enclave located in Loudoun County, one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.  As one of the area's most thriving communities, Brambleton is transforming the face of Loudoun County as it combines living, shopping, dining and entertainment all in one place… truly, a new town.  With approximately 2,500 homes currently occupied, about 9,000 are planned to be completed at build out. 

The planned community blends architecturally diverse streetscapes from six of the region's leading homebuilders with detailed recreation amenities, community parks and green spaces, schools, places of worship, businesses, stores and eateries - all within an easy commute to jobs throughout the Dulles technology corridor and the DC metro region. 

With a strong focus on the environment and preservation of the natural land features, much of the land is devoted to parks and trails.  Woodlands, wetlands and meadows have been left in their natural state. Aside from the many amenities, residents enjoy everything that Brambleton has to offer including wonderful community events and programming - from festivals to summer concerts and pool parties to summer camps and swim lessons.  There truly is something for the entire family!



Stone Ridge

Welcome to Stone Ridge, a master planned community growing to 3,300 homes, offers the small town country feel with the city just down the road.  A  Village Center with 125,000 square feet of retail space and over 1 million square feet of commercial office/light industrial/flex space planned offers the community great resources close to home.  Whether you're looking for shopping, dining, or the great outdoors, we're only 15 minutes from it all.

Reston Association

There is a place where life hearkens to simple pleasures - a walk around the lakes - the laughter of children in the pool - a tennis match with new friends - a nature walk along one of the community's trails. Meet your neighbors and get involved.

The community is: 62,000 residents. 55 miles of trails.  48 outdoor tennis courts. 15 pools. Hundreds of volunteers. Run by an elected board of nine directors - one from each of four districts, four at-large and one representing owners of multi-family dwellings. All are volunteer leaders.  A staff of 78 is under the direction of a chief executive officer.  During the "season" the numbers of employees swells to more than 300.

For more than four decades, Reston, Virginia has been that place. One of the first "new towns" founded in the mid-1960s, the Reston community has held tightly to its founding principles - of "Live, Work, Play and Get Involved."
